A total of 8450 visitors attended the specialized international exhibitions Bulgarian Building Week and Security Expo 2017. From 15 to 18 of March, the visitors at the two forums organized by Inter Expo Center in Sofia had the opportunity to review the booths of hundreds of exhibitors over a total area of nearly 3200 square meters ,while Security Expo was officially opened by the caretaker Interior Minister Plamen Uzunov.
17th edition of Bulgarian Building Week presented more than 200 companies. Over an area of more than 2100 square meters, companies from Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Turkey, Greece and Moldova placed their booths. They were visited by architects, designers, engineers, manufacturers, investors, property developers, retailers, distributors, owners of construction stores and end customers. There were plenty of visitors from abroad, too.
The specialized international exhibition was accompanied by an extensive side-events program, which included a seminar by the Association "Bulgarian doors, windows and facades" and vocational training in the field of 3D modeling.
Innovative Bulgarian Building Week
In 2017 the event brought once again together representatives of the entire construction sector. The exhibitors presented machinery, tools, external shutters controlled via smartphone, windows, doors, mobile and prefabricated buildings ecopanels, ladders and scaffolding, sun protection systems and much more from the world of construction. Visitors could personally review the majestic platforms by Electroelsa, that can "grow" up to an impressive 400 meters. "Euromarket" presented the new range of small Komatsu excavators MR-3 business Class. In 2017 the organizers included three new themes - "Wood in construction", "Home renovation” and "Energy Efficiency".
The seminar of the Association "Bulgarian doors, windows and facades," with a highlight on the issue of warm edge spacers, has led to enhanced interest from the sector. More than 150 participants filled the seminar room during the free seminar "SketchUP - 3D modeling for everyone", organized jointly by Inter Expo Center and Training Center Graphic Ground. There was organized an additional workshop for all those who want to make their first steps in operating with SketchUP and enter the world of 3D graphics.
Security Expo brought together businessess, institutions and organizations
8450 All visitors had the opportunity to review the innovative and highly efficient products by more than 40 companies that took part in Security Expo. It was officially opened by the caretaker Interior Minister Plamen Uzunov. "This is the meeting point of representatives of business, government and engineering organizations working in the field of public safety," he stated.
Over an area of nearly 1100 square meters companies from Bulgaria, Belarus, China and Turkey placed their booths. They demonstrated their products for fire detection, fire-extinguishing, CCTV, CLOUD engineering - IP and networking, IT and communications, access control, biometrics, counterterrorism means, perimeter protection, protection of critical infrastructures, alarm systems, barriers and parking systems, data transfer security, Big data, M2M services, unmanned aircraft systems (drones).
The specialized forum featured an extensive side-events program. The exhibition organized by the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Population Protection", which included children from all over Bulgaria inspired the visitors.
Free advice to companies on the funding opportunities under European programs was held by Enterprise Europe Network. The new products and solutions in security systems were presented by ANDI-L, INSAS, Polimex, BOSCH, NST Security Group and Sectron. The Defense Institute "Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov " at the the Ministry of Defense showcased the categories of security surveillance systems for use in security applications, while the Bulgarian Association " Labor, Health, Safety” gave tips and ideas for the right choice of personal protective equipment
