Nearly 10,000 people visited only spring exhibition for construction held this year in Sofia

Increase in number of visitors, numerous business-oriented solutions and ideas for home, rich accompanying program and high added value for all. This was reported by this year's edition of Bulgarian Building Week. The well-recognized exhibition, which is the only spring event for construction in 2018 in Sofia, was held from 7 to 10 March at Inter Expo Center.

Nearly 10,000 visitors attended the 18th edition of the Bulgarian Building Week, which is traditionally held in parallel with the forum for fire safety, access control and video surveillance - SECURITY EXPO.

Clients and guests from Bulgaria and the whole Balkan Peninsula could find over 250 companies from Bulgaria and all over Europe. On an area of over 5000 sq. m., manufacturers, distributors and importers from Bulgaria, Germany, Romania, Turkey and Greece offered building materials, machinery, equipment, window frames, doors, heat and waterproofing products, low energy building technologies, interior and exterior, paint and flooring.

Added Value

Even before the end of the exhibition, nearly 45% of the companies stated they would again participate in 2019 and would like to increase the exhibition space of their stands compared to this year. All this proves the high added value that the exhibition brings to everyone in the sector. Taking part in the event can help the company’s position themselves in the country and abroad, to meet and exchange experience between experts and choose the right solutions for home.

Seminar halls stretched to the limit

The participants and visitors recognized the high added value of this year's rich accompanying program. During all four exhibition days, the seminar room of Bulgarian Building Week hosted events that addressed a variety of topics, including "European Year of Greener Cities 2020" and "Greener Cities in Bulgaria 2020". The capital, the building renovation and the initiative "Vision for Sofia" were "under the spotlight “, while there were held corporate seminars by the Bulgarian Association for Construction Insulation in (BACI) and the Association "Bulgarian Doors, Windows and Facades". On the last day of the exhibition, the attention of the audience who crammed the seminar hall was captured by the workshop "SketchUP - Intuitive 3D Design" organized jointly by Inter Expo Center and Graphic Ground Training Center.

With each subsequent edition, Bulgarian Building Week is upgrading, aiming to create the optimum conditions for the development of the sector. For the next edition of Bulgarian Building Week, the organizers promise to do again their best to prepare the exhibition, defined as the event that annually inspires the Universe of construction.
